Compiler crash

Compiler crash if wrong chip option given to compile a file having no main function, example command line compilation as

C51 --chip=8051F410 util.c

Message display as:
cg51.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
More Information Link shows as
AppName: cg51.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: cg51.exe
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00029b42
