The development of modern applications is unthinkable without the work of a designer, and a designer needs the appropriate software to work.

Basically, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and other professional graphic editors are used for design development, but there are also specialized solutions. 

Recently, the third version of the Sketch vector editor was released, focused primarily on creating graphics for programs.

What makes this specialized vector editor different?

It was as if the Sketch developers took a powerful vector graphics editor and threw out everything unnecessary.

Then they thought about it, and supplemented it with everything that is needed to create graphics during the development of programs.

It is this set of convenient “tricks” that distinguish the program from other editors. It is worth noting that Sketch is not limited to graphics alone, it can be used, for example, for web design (functions like “copy style as CSS” help with this), but still this purpose is the main one.
